Stewardship at Trinity
During 2016 the Stewardship Committee developed a stewardship action plan focusing on raising the spirit and level of generosity at Trinity. The plan included sermons and parishioner presentations about demonstrating gratitude for God’s gifts. Woven into our worship time were Father Gaetz’s words of inspiration, encouragement, and a look at stewardship through scripture. In addition, parishioners were given the opportunity to share their hopes for the future of the parish by completing the vision cards included in their stewardship packets. A celebratory champagne brunch followed the dedication of the 2017 pledges.
Historically, Trinity Church has always met the challenges of maintaining this historic site. Congregations past and present have done significant work to preserve the stained glass windows and address many water issues in and around the church. Updates to the interior of the building have also taken place. Trinity parishioners continue in their commitment to the preservation of this spiritual home for present and future generations.
“Ring the bell that still can ring,
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in. “
