Above selfies with the help.    July 30, 2017

Trinity Church hosts dinners on the last Sunday of the month for anyone wishing to attend.  The meal is always well-balanced and focuses on providing fresh ingredients.  A typical meal offered recently included baked ziti with  home-made meatballs, salad , two vegetables and beverages .  A crowd favorite is the choice of desserts.   This year we have extended this dinner and included our home bound so that they are getting a healthy meal but also stay connected to their Trinity Family.   These meals are always welcomed and appreciated.

The number of meals provided each month is increasing.  At the present time around 70 people are provided with a meal each month.   Volunteers are always welcome to help.

July’s menus was fresh grilled hamburgers , tossed salad, baked beans,  corn on the cobb and chocolate cookie pudding cake and vanilla cake.

Seneca Falls Middle School Supplies

This outreach project was initiated by one of Trinity’s younger parishioners.  The purpose is to collect much needed school supplies for children in her school.  This has been very successful and the fact that it has been carried out almost completely by the young people in our congregation is very pleasing to all of us.

Donations to Beverly’s Animal Shelter

Trinity parishioners are committed to the collection of cat and dog food, treats, and supplies.  Baskets are provided at the back of the church for weekly donations and are delivered periodically to the shelter.

House of Concern

  • Hat and Mitten Project   –    The Fun Day school collects hats and mittens to donate to the House of Concern.  Some parishioners knit hats and mittens to donate while others purchase them for donation.
  • Food Collection   –   The parish is in communication with the HOC regarding the critical food needs for each month.  This is conveyed to parishioners and these food items are brought to the church for later delivery to the HOC.  In addition, the parish supports food collection at holiday time.
  • Denim & Diamonds Gala –  An evening out with music, dinner and silent auctions.  In 2016 the Gala donated $3,500.00 to the House of Concern.
  • Back Pack Program   –  Parishioners help deliver back pack meals to school children in the community.  This House of Concern program supplements the back pack program during the school year.
